Loads of wind forecast and passing Dip looked like big shore dump and no
one there so went to Golf. Peter went to get his gear. Sea looked good but
very windy. A couple of kiters also out on 6m, saying it was too big.
Tacked to sail opposite Dip where sea was best. Very windy and kept taking
off going out, but coming in was great with breaking waves and smooth
faces. Vans were against the back wall at Dip hence I missed them. A few
more came out until wind increased even more and we got blown out. I did
half a foreward loop (meant to do nothing), heard the sail smack the water
then my head went through. One panel gone and tack ripped for about a foot
and half but still atached enough to water start and easily sail in on a
baggy 3m. Got eough gybes in the have enjoyed it. Darren offered me his
4.2m, but I reckon I'd have wrecked that too as wind was really mental by
now.
